Yeah, with problems like that they are destined to fail.

So, are you saying that you will buy the iPad2 (maybe you have one) when the possibility of light leaks are (still) present? Maybe by the iPad3, sufficient pre-sales testing will have been done and the problem won't be present. Perhaps when the demand lessens, better quality control will be in place for the iPad2.

That just being the first to market a new technology is only half the story, it is the quality of the product that you bring to the market that will in the end resonate with consumers...
