I would just make fun of him because u did say that "he made his boyfriend get one as well" so that means he's gay and everybody knows gay people are weird and unwanted

In my experience Android people are the WORST. Every time I take out my iPhone I gotta hear "dude Droids are so much better." First of all, no they're not, not even close imo. Their iOS sucks ass and software lags terribly, why would I want that. Thing is, I never hear an iPhone user say that to a Droid user. Pretty annoying actually.

Heh. All fanbois are annoying. My friend wouldn't stop gushing about how awesome his iPhone was for years. Only problem was that he never could quite do anything unless he had a wifi hotspot. I can't count the number of times when we were out and he tried to look something up on the internet and couldn't get anywhere. While conceding that his iPhone was lots cooler than my old Palm Pro, I'd usually wait about 5 minutes for him to give up, then whip out my old WM6.1 phone and look up whatever he was failing to access. These days I'll just turn on my Android's wifi hotspot for him. :D

I remember when Newegg switched to UPS as its default carrier instead of FedEx. FedEx was still available but usually at a higher shipping cost.

There was some outrage due to that.

Fanboys of shipping carriers exist.

I remember back in the day... all my purchases from Mac Mall came by Airborne Express. Never saw them around unless they were delivering my Apple related stuff.

I hate fanboys who down other devices based off what they heard. And I hate fanboys who claim they had every device under the sun, but when they get caught not knowing much about the devices they so called had, their story changes quickly.

Agreed, though I'm not a fan of the educated fanboys of any singular piece of technology. It's even worse when they argue over largely subjective claims of what is better. Today's smartphones are great. There is very little that an Android can do that an iPhone can't, and likewise the other way around. Users can be elitist all they want, but in the end, they're just users and they're not half as special as their phone makes them feel.

Who cares? Use what phone you want to and be happy. It's very simple folks.

Yes Android users are very very bad. I was a Blackberry user for almost 5 years, and was almost 100% sure I would get a Droid X when I saw the leaked images almost 9 months before it actually came out. Almost all of my 'tech savy' friends got Androids, while all my casual 'non tech' friends owned iPhones forever.

They basically think I am a fool for owning anything Apple, and iPhone is the worst phone ever.

Now they can think all they want, but I bought an Android Tablet just to play with Android (after playing many many hours on their Galaxy's and Droid X's) and its si much worse. I think I would even choose my old Blackberry Bold over an Android. Only because its very unstable, way too 'modable', and its so slow.

I HATED iphone when the 2G came out, and I hated it because I JB'ed my 2G and thought it was the crappiest thing ever. Anroid in basically a JB'ed iPhone clone, and has all the problems of a non maintained JB iPhone, and thats stock!

I was an Apple hater forever, but the closed system works, and thats what makes the iPhone so amazing. It just works. Android users are something else.

So? Youre a homophobe. I know ure only 14 but intolerance only makes you look dumb and ignorant in the end.

Get a grip kid.

I thought apple fanboys were somewhat bad, but damn android user are just as bad. I congratulated my friend who got his android, and I said, "Cool phone." Instead, I got a snarky remark about how my network sucks, how I'm so limited... Blah blah.. They won't shut up about it. These people are in their 20s too!

They are jealous.

The end.

Yeah, I have a MacBook Pro. Yes, I have an iPhone. Yes, I have an iPad. Do I go out and preach the Apple gospel to every "dissident" I see using a Windows PC or Android phone? No. I could care less of what people choose to use.

It's such a stupid thing to argue about. I have friends with Android phones. Do either of us care that one has Android and the other has an iPhone? Not one bit.

What a nice, sensible, refreshing post.

Cheers... :)

Just calle him Fandroid, and refuse to go to the android dark side, until you guys stop being friends. :D

I don't think Android fanboys are any worse from Apple fanboys. I like Android better. To be completely honest - the only reason I'd want an iPhone is for bragging rights (people are more impressed by seeing an iPhone 4 than an Android phone). The reason I like Android is because of a) the notification system and b) better text input (swype, and maybe BlindType soon since Google bought it).

Okay, so, I had a crappy LG VU that broke a few weeks ago, and I still had a few months to my att contract. I'm on a family plan where everyone has a contract, so it makes no sense for me to leave ATT. As a result, I decided to take a dive and purchase the iPhone 4.

I bought my Iphone because I have been a mac user since 2009. Apple has put out good products for me. I really like my macbook. I have not had one issue with it which it is a relief since I've had HP most of my life. It's been a good computer, but like everything, nothing is perfect.

My friend just recently got a droid X, and he made his boyfriend purchase one as well. I was just joking around, because he just got a blackberry and took it back for the droid X. I just said, "Oh you phone whore."

He replied:

"I wish I had a DROID but instead I am stuck with an iPhone for the next two years because I was impulsive and didn't think twice before getting it and now I am making the best of it though deep down inside I am hating all yous who have an Android phone"

I am really getting annoyed about how much my android friends are being douchey about my purchase. I know the iPhone isn't perfect. The speech to text is cool on android (mainly why I was drooling when I saw that on their phone), but I like my phone. At the end of the day, that's all it is too.. A PHONE.

So it's ok to just entirely delete OPs now so you don't have to deal with the thread you created? Good to know.
