Wasn't there a report talking about the popularity of the Midnight Green? That's what I have. Apple might add blue as another option, but I doubt they'll axe a color that's popular.

I'm curious about the smaller HomePod, if it ends up sounding (almost) as good as the original while being cheaper and more useful, it can do well.

Curious to see if this smaller HomePod does anything new that the first HomePod doesn’t.

If not, the $199 sale price for the big one isn’t a bad deal. I’d imagine the small one won’t be any cheaper than $149 and $199 sounds more realistic.

As bad as I want them to be release this month, my wallet is happy with the delay as this will give me more time to save up for all these new toys! Can't wait!

If they made a homepod about the size of an echo plus. I would be tempted to replaces my echo speakers with those.

I hope they keep it too! Apple adds and removes iPhone colors regularly, though. Black/Grey, Silver, and Gold seem the be the ones that stick around. More recently, Red.

7 Series: Black, Jet Black, Silver, Rose Gold, Gold, Red
8 Series: Space Grey, Silver, Gold, Red
X: Space Grey, Silver
XS: Space Grey, Silver, Gold
XR: Black, White, Red, Yellow, Blue, Coral
11P: Space Grey, Silver, Gold, Green
11: Black, White, Red, Yellow, Purple, Green

If the AirPod Studio are comfortable to wear with glasses and have excellent noise cancellation, I might change my mind about Bluetooth headphones. I haven’t tried wireless cans since the Beats which I promptly returned, but I hope these are a marked improvement over Beats in comfort as well as sound etc.

I’m rooting for a cheaper iPad with more RAM and Apple Pencil 2 compatibility though.

Apple TV remote with built in Find My feature where you can locate in AR via iPhone display would be amazing.
How far do people take their remotes away from the tv? Ours is either in the remote basket on the end table or lost somewhere in the sofa cushions and takes only about a minute to find.

I'm seriously going to be mad if they discontinue midnight green. That is >>> dark blue.

I don’t know if it’s better than dark blue, but it’s a great color and I’d rather see it stick around in the lineup than rose gold. I’m so tired of rose gold, personally, but I know lots of people who love rose gold, so for their sakes I’m fine with it staying. I just think the green-grey color has been nice. There aren’t enough dark colors for their pro products. Just black/space grey. They don’t even let you have black AND space grey at the same time. I’m hanging onto my 11Pro, so it doesn’t really matter to me, but it would be cool to see the new design in midnight green even if I don’t own it personally.

They are axing green. Guaranteed. It‘s a fashion thing. Few will want last year’s ”in color.” So they rotate it.

Apple is preparing to build 75 million 5G iPhones, which Bloomberg says suggests demand for the iPhone is "holding up" despite the ongoing public health crisis. Apple anticipates shipments of the iPhone 12 lineup could hit 80 million units in 2020.

80M units in 2020 ?, I seriously doubt it !

More-likely, any 80M unit number would cover Release (in late Oct) thru about July 1st of NEXT year !

Smaller Home Pod? No one wants the larger one, why make a smaller one?

That ship has sailed. Home Pod is ineffectual. As a speaker, its interchangeable with Sonos and the Sonos line is much more versatile and expandable. As a smart speaker, Siri has nothing on Alexa.

Home Pod fits precisely no where. It is only of interest to the select group of Apple enthusiasts who will only buy it because its Apple...and this is literally the only Apple product I feel fits that description.

I never said it was Apple's fault we are in a pandemic. It would be nice if they gave us different security options to choose from. I ride public transport and I'm in a mandatory mask-wearing State. I can't be taking off my mask all the time just because I need to use face ID to unlock my phone or to securely get into protected apps. I also risk spreading Covid by continuesly touching my mask. It was stupid to totally get rid of the fingerprint sensor.

I recently changed my passcode from 6 digits to 4 digits. It’s less hassle than tapping 6 digits in a public space. Not really concerned about security anyway since I got nothing really important on my phone.

There are so many families out there looking for an iPad for their kids to do school stuff on. Improvements to the Air are fine, but an improved (or simply just cheaper) low-end iPad would be most appreciated.

Need that 5.4" iPhone. My iPhone SE gets about an hour's worth of battery life these days with performance to match.

I hate My sonos’. Constantly needing to update and having their configurations scrambled. And I have to keep Alexa turned off for privacy reasons. Looking forward to replacing them with future homepods.

Really? I have two Sonos (One gen1 and Beam) and they work fine. Mine don't seem like they update very often, and when they do it's automatic. I do hear you on the Alexa thing, though.

What’s wrong with the current low end model? Pretty snappy for kids and family.

Maybe next year, but I can’t see them bumping it up to an A12 chip just yet.
