Earlier this week, we noted that Bloomberg Television would be airing a profile of Apple CEO Steve Jobs as part of its new Bloomberg Game Changers series. Following the initial airing of the episode last night, the full 48-minute video has now been posted to Bloomberg's site.
Through interviews with friends, former colleagues and business associates, GAME CHANGERS reveals the many layers of the intensely private Steve Jobs - his style of leadership, management and creative process. Interviews include Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, former Apple CEO John Scully, journalist turned Venture Capitalist Michael Moritz, Dreamworks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg, former Apple "Mac Evangelist" and Silicon Valley Entrepreneur, Guy Kawasaki and Robert X.Cringely, technology journalist and former Apple employee.
For those who are interested in catching the episode on television, Bloomberg will be re-airing it at 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM Eastern Time tonight.

That was right around the time I joined Apple. What a wild ride! Steve really has earned his place in history. He redefined the way we look at technology and also redefined ways we look at CEO's.

I apologise as this post is tangential to the original subject, but does anyone know how to make this Bloomberg video play in Safari? All I get is a blank white screen with only the audio playing. I'm on Safari 5.0.2 and Flash 10.1 r82.

Yeah.. try watching it with Firefox.

Excellent Show

Saw it last night. I found that the history of Steve Jobs was much more captivating than just the history of Apple Computing. He is the real story of the company.

Same, works in Firefox 4. I'm amazed it's available outside America. I didn't think I'd get to see it.

Not entirely. There were a lot of other key people that made Apple Steve just happens to be the visionary and voice behind Apple.

HA, ironical that the video won’t play in Safari

plays fine in chrome

great link, thanks!

Great insight

My first computer was an Apple IIe & I've have been a fan of all things Apple ever since. (My wife overlooks this idiosyncrasy since it does keep me out of the bars.) Anyhow, after hearing all the tales about Steve over the years, it was refreshing to see a well rounded & thorough program devoted to him alone & not Apple. I certainly admire him but I do think I'd pass on working for him. He is, without a doubt, a brilliant visionary. I have commented to others in the past that Apple produces new products that NOBODY has ever needed & next thing you know has a hot selling item because the "need" has now been created. The program essentially closes with that same thought.

It doesn't work in Safari - just appears as a white box, although you can hear it. You can use Firefox on the Mac and it works fine. Personally, I used Safari, listened for the commercial to stop and then used Cmd+Alt+A to find the 220MB FLV file and downloaded it.

Love Him or Hate Him...

You have to admit he has had a GREAT influence on the evolution of computing technology and hence, on all of our lives.

Personally, I REALLY admire him. Don't always agree with him and some of Apple's design decisions don't resonate well with me....but do I respect the man? OH YEA!!!!!

As much as I love Safari, sometimes it just frickin' sucks!!! Can't even play this video but FF and Chrome can?
