    Bluetooth pan not connected
I have tried to connect a Bluetooth Keyboard. There is no icon in the system Preferences for it, how can i get one on there?
I have seen a articles on here where it tells you to press two keys on the keyboard and a click on the mouse, it is supposed to come up *Debug* .it only says about files Bluetooth on and off in the menu at the top.
I have had my 2012 Mac Mini for 1 year now.Could it be that the person who was the owner before never had any Bluetooth hardware on there, and that is why there is know Bluetooth icon in the system Preferences?
I hope some one can help me, have not had much luck on here before.

To restore the bluetooth icon in System Preferences you can try this:
    1. Close any app that is trying to connect with Bluetooth.
    2. Press Command+Shift+G in the Finder.
    3. Enter ~/Library/Preferences/ and click Go.
    4. Locate the com.apple.Bluetooth.plist file and delete it.
    5. Reboot your Mac.

Hi Thanks for all that tried and did not work:(even tried something on utube where he said take all the USB . leads and the mains plug out of the computer after 15 seconds turn it back on still no joy.:(another utube video said click the Keyboard then set Bluetooth when i did it showed a blank box saying Device :(clicked on bluetooth pan in the network section to set a bluetooth condition it gave me a long number with letters saying not connected :(I have ordered a wireless non bluetooth keyboard. But it would have been nice to sort out this Bluetooth connection problem.
Thanks for the advice anyway .Hope you are having a good day.:)
