Let's break this down. These are complicated processes to make these things. We're not talking about "minimum" wages. When we talk about labor prices, how labor intensive is this kind of labor? We're talking about individuals operating presses and machine tooling.

If we're talking about adding on prices to the final products, let's break that down. Apple is already making phones which are $1K+.

Electronic components have been mass-manufactured outside of Tijuana since the very beginning of electronics.

China is clearly intent on repressing it's own population, and the more power it has the more it also forces Silicon Valley to play by CCP rules. Didn't they just force Zoom to remove some dissidents from the platform?

Locating global manufacturing of electronics somewhere other than CCP controlled entities should be a national security priority for every country which is NOT controlled by the CCP.

Because of the price and skill.

What's the minimum wage in those cities compared to China? America or Europe is clearly not ideal for manufacturing products cause labors are expensive to hire even for simple tasks.

China had been manufacturing for other companies for a long time. And now, it's hard to change the location other than China since Chinese labors are highly skilled
Highly skilled? No. Highly affordable, yes.
