Haven't BOGOs been in the form of bill credits? For example, you buy one and get one free as long as the second phone is a new line (can't upgrade two existing lines and get BOGO). The free phone shows up on your bill in the form of the monthly equipment installation plan cost with the same amount as a bill credit. But if you leave the carrier before the 24- or 30-month agreement is up, you lose the bill credits (meaning you will owe the outstanding amount).

I haven't come across a BOGO offer that makes sense for people with an existing plan who don't want to add a new line.

T-Mobile didn’t require bill credits for the S7, S8, or Note 8. They issue a prepaid debit card for the price of the “free” phone. They do require an added line which you can cancel after they issue the debit card.

I sat in Best Buy for an hour and half tonight - torn between 8 and 8+. I had finally decided on 8 when the sales rep (who was actually knowledgeable, surprising because it was Best Buy) talked me out of it.

He said today was a major flop for them. They had so much inventory. They knew people were waiting for X, but the walk-in rate was very low. He said they almost sold more Notes today than walk-in iPhones.

His advice, get a new case, maybe a new battery, and keeping getting a $27 bill credit on the 6s for a month or two and see what happens with the 8 and 8+ after the X comes out. Or at least until Black Friday.

I received my order via UPS today and wanted to change the color of my 8+. I called every corporate store in metro Atlanta and all stated they ran out of the 8+ but had many 8. Maybe it varies on what area you're in. I also was going to return mine at Sprint and head to Best Buy in Gwinnett and they were out of the 8+ as well.

I just want a deal on the iPhone 7 plus 128 but I'd rather wait till Black Friday and see if there are any good deals on the 7 or the 8 256 gb.
I was thinking that too! Since Apple profit margin on the 8 is pretty big, Apple could offer a Black Friday cut in price of a hundred to two hundred depending on model! I get a 8 256GB for $649! That would be excellent!

We used Bogo to get two iPhone 8 Plus 256 GB phones today. The second iPhone gets $700 in credits over 24 months. Not a bad deal.

Need a new line though right? Seems like before it didn’t say that, now it does.

I noticed AT&T has a bogo promo right now. Would be great if it’ll work for the X.
