i just placed my order (brown), not bad for the price $59
http://vimeo.com/114319552

just received now via fedex ground. ordered late friday and choose free ground shipping.
the smell of a real leather is so addicting, quality build is top notched. very slick detachable system. no magnets!!! also the case is thin. nice to hold the phone either you attached it to the wallet or detached it.

No thank you, I love twelve south's metal products(docks for iPhone and Mac), but the quality of their bookbook's is not worth the price. The quality for their iPhone 4 bookbook used to be amazing, but when I bought one for my 5s it literally fell apart within a couple of months of use.

If the price was in the 30 dollar range then it would be worth it.

I agree 100% .. I think that's why they did the detachable shell... to try and justify their value with a bit more "use" ... Personally, I think they're ugly as heck but I have a couple friends who are really into them.

I am just sharing. Price is actually low compare to other real leather. Oh yeah, you can find as low as that price but the warranty is horrible. I heard twelve south is good on replacing stuff and awesome customer service?

I ordered the brown one for 6+. Shipping to Finland and DHL tax comes to almost as much as the case itself. At least shipping is super fast. Haven't received it yet but it left the same day I ordered it and is well on its way.

Wow, that's pretty terrible.
Why would I want:

a) my iPhone to look like a book
b) my credit cards rubbing against my screen
c) credit cards at all... Apple Pay will make this obsolete
d) a crappy rubber protector that's wrapped around my iPhone once I remove it

Pass.

Ah dang I didn't think this case would get this type of criticism. I had it for my 5 and I loved it. They do have a 30 day money back guarantee so I will take 2 weeks to see if I want to keep it or return it to get a Portenzo case.

They are pretty ugly cases and I personally would never use them. Not to mention they add unnecessary bulk and weight.

The BookBook is a lifestyle case. If you are someone that prefers slim, it does not fit your lifestyle. But they are attractive cases, and who doesn't like the smell of leather :) I tried one back when I had an iPhone 4. Beautiful, but since i keep my phone in my front pocket, it did not work for me. It would definitely work for others, and obviously does as they keep selling them.

To some of your points:
-It does not rub against the screen in any way that could cause problems.
-Even if Apple Pay is hugely successful, it will be years before cards are obsolete. Far longer than this case will be used.

There's no way i'm ever going to use Apple Pay any more than I used Google Wallet when I was on Android. It's never going to make cards obsolete.

Placed my order last Friday, and was shipped out on the same day. Looking forward to receiving it.

What prompted me to get a wallet case is my forgetfulness. Many times, I forget to bring either my wallet or phone when I was leaving home. Hopefully this will solve this brain of mine. :)

Lol, same here in Finland. Picked it up a couple of hours ago.

Super fast but shipping + customs + fees ended up costing more than the case itself. Whatever. Small price for an amazing product.

The packaging is super impressive. Top quality. Case is just oozing of quality leather. Cards slide in and out smoothly. Case stays closed when left on table. The amazing feature that made this purchase a no brainer for me was the fact that the phone cradle thingy came off. I can now conveniently put it in my car stand. I wholeheartedly recommend this product.

....not being funny or anything but I have never seen the appeal of any of these cases for the iPhone - full stop.

Why would someone choose to have their shiny iPhone in a case that :

1. ...is bulky
2. ....would NEVER fit in your trouser/jeans pockets
3.....looks like a book
4....when you want to make a call, you have to fold the case back on itself, which doubles the thickness of the case itself and exposes all your cards to whoever is watching you talking into your phone.

:confused::confused:

Happy to hear the BookBook is now available for the iPhone 6. I liked it for my 5 and was worried it would be discontinued and replaced by the surfacepad. Will definitely get one.

1. Doesn't bother me
2. The iPhone 6+ won't fit in my pocket anyway
3. That's awesome
4. I always use a BT headset.

To each their own...

each has own preferences, i'd rather go with this that to put otter****inbox on it. that is a freaking ugly brick and you are stuck on it once you put it. at least this book is cool, detachable. i got tired bringing multiple stuff on my jeans. this is actually fit no problems at back pocket and winter jackets no problem at all

It's a lifestyle case, combining your wallet and your phone both into 1. Some might not like the idea, but I am sure a lot are interested in such a lifestyle change.
