I definetly submitted this, but someone apperently beat me to it! Whatever. Can ou just burn a new drivers disk? or do you have to install BC over again? SOrry for the rediculous question.

Could someone put this in english please? You install and new drivers?????   You mean install new drivers, r install bootcamp then new drivers?
-dsm

You install the new BC, make a new driver CD, then install the new drivers in Windows.

What problem is that? The card won't work on that display? I'm about to buy 8-core MP with the 1900XT card. XP won't work?

I have that setup and sometimes when I boot into XP I get a black screen. No display. If I boot a few more times I usually get a display. So the card and the ACD (23") are a little wonky.

Make sure to disconnect any FW drives (external), etc. before booting into XP.

i like your positive thinking and i hope it will come true. i have been waiting to buy a new MB for several months. This is gradually killing me T_T

Are you sure that's not the passage of time. Living is gradually killing us all.

cynically I am going to say that the MB update will not happen until the new model spike in MBP sales is over. And it might be just a bit soon for that. But maybe they are finally at a place where they are not worried about the low end laptops canibalizing the sales of the high end ones.

Boot Camp Question

Has anyone had any problems with the mac side after you install boot camp? My windows is fine. but then once I get back over to the mac side, my preferneces were lost.. This happened in the beginning.. It hasn't happened for a couple of days.. but.. thought I could ask.. I just don't want to go along and make some changes to my preferences (e.g. in safari) and then when I reboot in they're gone..
