I just installed on my new MBP and Vista 32bit.. I installed the 101.17 and also tried the 158.45 and they both gave me a blue screen of death error after rebooting with the new drivers and the computer just keeps rebooting. After I start up in safe mode in Vista and remove the drivers, everything works... BUT... I'm still where I was before without Video drivers to play my new Command and Conquer Tiberium Wars game!

Any help would be appreciated... Thanks!

I cannot find it on apple's site...where did you get Bootcamp 1.3?

I too tried to install the nvidia drivers using laptop2go site, but it just froze my system up...

EDIT: NVM, got it from apple's site...

Thanks

Thanks for the 1.3 update. I was about to install the hacked version with 1.2.

Do you think this will work with Windows XP Home? That's what I got. I heard that nVidia is NOT making the driver the GeForce 8600M GT for XP, only for Vista. I hope Apple went the extra mile and added XP support.

I saw that also but I noticed it was missing the 'M'. I don't know how much difference the M can make but I am going to play it safe. I don't want to mess things up.

I'm sure the official release from Apple (Bootcamp 1.3) works on XP too... That would just be dumb if it didn't work for both... Give it a try and let us know!

here is my experience with it...and it hasn't been so great...

yea...i just tried it...it didn't work for me..neither did 1.2

i have the low end mbp...trying to install win xp pro

everything goes fine until installation of the drivers...

with both the 1.2 and 1.3, my system freezes up at the intel chipset driver installation...when i try to reboot, it says pci.sys is corrupt and windows does not reboot...and then it is game over.

before 1.3 came out...i did try 1.2 again, and the 2nd time, the driver installation went fine but some stuff (audio, ethernet, and video) were not installed. So i tried doing the hack with the laptop2go stuff and that froze up my system too...but i think i downloaded the wrong stuff.

i hope someone out there has better luck

i do not know why the installation always hangs at the intel chipset drivers...maybe they aren't for santa rosa? i have no clue

Did you insert your OSX install disk, once booted into windows, after your initial windows install?

That should set you up.

Even if you didn't, you can do it now.

The only driver that I felt I needed to get, outside of the bootcamp installed ones, was a video driver that would let me overclock. If you experience an issue with your audio, then you would need to check out finding a new driver for that. Other than that, you should be good to go.
