Bootcamp issue with Windows7

    Hi Guys :)

    I'm trying to install windows7 64bit on my iMac but when Windows' installer restart by itself during the installation process, I get a black screen.

    It happens RIGHT after this screen:

    Here's some of my iMac stats:

    Intel Core i5 2.66Ghz
    4Gb RAM
    ATI Radeon HD 4850

    After hours of google and forum, I guess the problem comes from my Graphic Card..

    Some People from old forums suggest the mxm update 1.0 for mac, but when I tried, my comp said I didn't need it and I couldn't install at all..

    I'm about to /cry.. Please Help me !

    are you doing it with bootcamp? if so do you have snow lion or mountain as you mac osx

    That's a real bummer.

    Like the above poster asked, what version of OS X are you using?

    Also, is this physical install media or are you trying to install from a USB stick using the downloaded installer?

    I use 10.6.8... Snow Leopard, Thanks for help btw :)
