Yes, I can understand people getting bored with a new toy when they expect it to do stuff for them. This can be used as a creative tool which is where most of the fun is. Take some pictures or videos.

I had a long drive yesterday and so I spent a lot of it going 'Hey Siri'. She's quite tolerant.

Slightly off topic from the gist of your post, but:

Humans are notoriously bad about gauging how happy or sad future events will make us.

The things we think will make us happy don't make us nearly as happy nor for as long as we expect.

Now: time to start 6s / 7 speculation!

Maybe its just me but I am no where near bored with the 6. We have had the same size phone for 2 years now. This is a big change for me at least... I am still not use to it. It makes me love the iPhone all over again. Just me though.

I havent had any issues yet carrying it around. I dont wear slim fit jeans, or baggy. Somewhere in the middle, and the phone fits fine in my pockets. Every time ive had an itch to check out the 6 i just look at the screen on the 6+ and realize how much id miss that nice big screen. Also, the 6+ isn't really that much bigger than the 6 in terms of physical size and once the developers and apps catch up to the 6+ all the people with the 6 will be envious.
 
There's only so much apple is willing to do for each iteration...planned so we keep buying a new phone every year. I'll be pleased with the battery life and I hope the camera is really improved on the 6. Like most people, the iPhone is my primary camera. Once I got the 4, never bought a digital camera after that.

What I REALLY want for the next iPhone is that illuminated keyboard/hologram.

yea me too soo disapointed that ive been waiting all morning for my phone to make me an egg muffin and you know what? it cant just simply cant ,what a useless this iphone. no egg muffin:eek:
