i'm glad you're all saying you're never too old for braces, because i hope some day my boyfriend will get them. he's 18 now and can't afford them, but hopefully some day in the future he can get them. his bite is good, but his teeth are slightly jacked.

my teeth were jacked AND my jaw was such a bad underbite, that they said i'd need surgery if i didn't get braces... yeah. anyways, here's inspiration. wear your retainer!

(my cousin had braces for 4 years and now 4 years later they're back to their original place... because he didn't wear his retainer! tsk tsk!)

I spent weeks after mine came off running my tongue over the fronts of them.. you forget how good it feels not having rough metal in your mouth.

And yeah, eating's the worst with braces. I snapped at least three brackets that I remember and two bands throughout the ordeal..

I don't get that- I ate apples, popcorn, all that crap... and I NEVER broke a single bracket. EVER. In four years!
