Ever since watchOS 4, I don't get breathe reminders when I should. Using the Siri watch face, I might get a reminder every now and then, but I have it set to 3. I do not get all three. I see a card on the watch face to breathe..does that count as a reminder? I thought it should give haptic feedback and explicitly remind me to breathe.

Try a reboot and then a manual Breathe. I had the same problem with my new S3. One or both of these fixed it.

Still no luck here. Are people getting consistent reminders? I rarely get one if at all.

I turned mine off because the default setting was bad enough. I think default was 2 times a day. And you increased it to 3?!

I would check the settings to make sure reminders are not off. I had this same problem until I realized I by accident turned it off.

I finally got one using the activity watch face. I have it set to 10 reminders and the first one I got was at 330pm.

Is everyone really getting consistent breathe reminders? It seems a few people are having issues. I even unpaired and repaired the watch. I got a couple of reminders, but I changed it to 10 now. It is almost 130pm here, and still have not received one for today. This is getting pretty old. There is no explanation on breathe reminders as in when should the first one come. Does it base it on if you've started a breathe session manually or not? Does excessive movement silence the reminder?

A lot of people are reporting issues with Activity reminders and alerts, in addition to Breathe. Either a bug in watchOS 4 or a server issue.

Also problem here. I've got total of 2 breath reminders ever since the new OS roll out. Something is not right here...

I don't use the breathe reminder but the stand reminder stopped working after installing watchOS 4.

I haven't gotten any. It's my first Apple Watch and I did a manual breathing activity on the first day, but no reminders since. Yes, I have notifications turned on.

My stand reminder has been working all along.

I've not gotten any stand or breathe reminders on my watch today. Only my second day with it though...

It all seems pretty random - I lost reminders and notifications after updating to watchOS 4 for several days, then they mysteriously reappeared.

I am getting random stand reminders. I’ve only gotten breathe reminders twice since I updated. I have it set to 10x per day even. I’ve tried doing manual breathe sessions, restarting, etc. guessing it must be a bug. Hopefully it gets fixed in an update soon.

This has to be a bug right? I called Apple support and spent a few hours on the phone with them. I even sent diagnostics from my watch to them. He was telling me to set watch up as new and that would fix it. I will lose all my activity data since the first watch just to get these damn breathe reminders. Decided against it and am just not going to worry about it anymore. Hopefully like others mine will just start working again or an update will fix it.

I am having the same issue with my watch. Spent a couple of hours with Apple support on the phone without resolution.
I have LTE active on the watch. I am wondering whether there is a correlation.

I have the GPS model so LTE is not the issue.

Still no resolution to this? I’ve tried everything and still might only get one or two reminders a day when I have it set to 10. I don’t really want 10 reminders but it just doesn’t work as intended. I’m hoping it’s a big and not an issue with my backup or watch itself.

Same issue here. Not receiving Breathe notifications. Nothing has fixed it for me.

I get them occasionally when I’m sleeping, like at 2am every other night. That’s about it. I have it set to 6 times a day and I never get them during the day. I’ve tried everything so am assuming this is a bug. Hopefully it’s fixed soon.
