You know what I am thinking perhaps happened?

Maybe going through jailbreak steps 1 - 7 either:
A) removed/changed my imei #
B) removed/changed my carrier information

???

That might explain why even if I DFU restore it still tells me its a wrong sim card (Because it keeps restoring it to the wrong carrier based on removed/changed information?):confused::confused:

If that's the case you should be able to update that info with your carrier and get it upand running again.

What carrier are you on?

no and no. Jailbreak doesn't change IMEI and doesn't change carrier info either. You have been asked few times what carrier u are on and so far u haven't answered it. are u on ATT?

Yeah ATT, didn't want to say until I actually saw the genius at the store (I'm really paranoid)... but its ok now due to Apples CS I got my phone replaced :D
