Resolved Brightness slider unresponsive iPhone X

Hi everyone,
Today I picked up my phone from the wireless charger and tried increasing brightness because I was going to show some photos to a friend, but for some reason the top 1/3 of the brightness slider wouldn’t do anything and the screen wouldn’t reach full brightness.

I don’t know exactly how to replicate the issue, but this is the second time it happens to me (had the X since launch). On both occasions I restarted the phone and things went back to normal. Auto brightness is turned on, btw.

Coincidence or not, both times I noticed this I had just picked up the phone from the charging pad.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Probably overheating, since wireless charging heats up the phone significantly

Never had an issue with wired or wireless charging and display brightness limitations.

The iPhone X is the best phone that has ever been made. There are no problems with it.

Yea, the phone was warm. Does it cap brightness when it’s too hot? I never noticed that before on the other iPhones.
