Beta actually. And it's 10.50, not 10.5. The previous version was 10.10, so 10.5 would be a downgrade. The beta made some good improvements that were very notcieable to me from the alpha version.

I'm confused.. I just can't see how 10.5 would be a downgrade from 10.10.
10.5 isn't 10.05, atleast not in my world :p

Anyways, I'm using safari. It's the only one with ClickToFlash, and I simply can't live without it anymore ;)

Don't think of software releases as a decimal number. Thus, 10.5 isn't "halfway to 11". It's the fifth "version" of version 10. So 10.10 (which is different from 10.1) is higher than 10.5, because it's the tenth. And 10.50 is higher than either of them.

I use the big 3: Chrome (Daily Browsing), Safari (for private browsing ;)) and Firefox (plugins etc.)

Chrome also does private browsing... Better than the way Safari does it, too.

For me,
daily browsing = Chromium nightly build
when Chromium fails = Safari (some web videos don't render right in Chromium)
TOR, other extension functionality = Firefox

On 10.5.8:

Safari 4.0.4: 3313

Firefox 3.6: 2196

Omniweb uses webkit the rendering engine also used in safari and chrome so apart from browser sniffing it should be just as compatible.

ok, but there is nothing that makes me want to switch. Don't take it the wrong way, Sure OmniWeb might be a great browser, but FireFox, Safari, Chrome, and Camino are all great too. So why add one more?
