Brushed Aluminum iMacs in August?

Incidentally, sounds like the July 24th theory has been scotched - Apple deliver their quarterly results on July 25th, so all those clues pointing to next week (offers on Macs, iPods etc ending on the week before) are probably just because that's the end of a financial quarter.

WHEN ARE THE NEW iMACS COMING???!

I really desperately need a new machine. 🙁
 
Not in the UK, and it's not like they'd release a new iMac without a MASSIVE fanfair. They'll just be tweaking the iPhone pages or something, or doing an incremental upgrade to some other hardware.
 
I should have posted it before, the apple store went down right as I was configuring a mac mini for my girlfriend. Added a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and the price didn't change, refreshed the page, and then the store told me that the page did not exist. Maybe we will get the new Mini's today! 😀 What's the smilie for dreaming? 🙄

Still waiting for the new iMac and the iPhone in Europe.... *grml*

Apple insider reports: Reliable sources have zeroed in further on the release date for Apple's revamped iMac since our last report, pointing to an announcement on August 7. Meanwhile, preliminary signs suggest Apple may be ready to release its next-generation iLife suite around the same time in an effort to further bolster the iMac's appeal ahead of the back-to-school buying season.

24" Imac Ships: 1-2 business days

The US store now reports 1-2 business days for delivering a new imac-24! ... European store still reports 4 days. Seems to me that the US store is allso out of stock!

Co-sign. Im sick of people saying how mad the graphics cards are in macs and saying how horrible they are for gaming. Steve said at the keynote, that there trying to get more involved in the gaming market. Well maybe its time to step up 😉🙄
