iconsupport DEF fixes the problem (well it did for me); it came up in "changes" in cydia...

i love how we all go into panic everytime something changes, and how, soon (enough), there's a fix...

Yeah there's a lot of very hard working devs around! Thank you all!

Can't find IconSupport or Icon Support in Cydia. But I have the BigBoss repo installed. Hmm, any info?

i have a jb iphone4 and i don't have any of those things installed (5 columns, lockinfo etc.) but like others, my itunes 10 kept crashing.

however, i did move all the icons from the first page manually so it's clean. this was never a problem in itunes 9 but it seems like this is the culprit (at least for me). now i just move an icon to the first page when i need to add/delete/update apps and itunes 10 hasn't crashed since.

i hope this helps.

Exact same situation here (non JB iphone4 with a blank first screen). The app tab kept bombing until I found this thread. Removed the blank page and everything works again.

Problem Fixed As Well

iPhone 4 (iOS 4.1). Not Jailbroken. Had blank first page. Exact same issue with iTunes crashing after selecting the apps tab. Moved a folder over to the first page, and fixed the issue.

Minor pain in the ass to have to do this every time I want to sync and go into the apps tab. But oh well.

Solved Maybe

I started having this same problem last night after downloading a TON of apps, When I tried to go into the Apps section of my phone it would freeze up itunes, I had gone through and tried reinstalled itunes as well as many of the other suggestions on this page. I ended up trying to wait it out, Thinking that I could just possibly have to many apps trying to load at once. about 3-4 min later the screen finally refreshed and I was able to access and change around my apps on my phone

Not sure if this will work for everyone, but its worth a try
