That new multitask is the devil of all bugs.

On the iPod Touch when increase contrast option is off, that is transparency and effects enabled, and assistive touch enabled there is a lag in the whole OS! Sometimes not so much in some apps but in some apps it is way too much, like real racing 3. Even the notification centre and control centre stutter!

Thought it would be fixed in 7.0.4, but no.

Might as well throw this in here too... just found this video, pretty funny he's all gung ho with his nail scrapping.

YouTube: video

Fook!!!!, it's Edward Scissor Hands

I wouldn't worry about the screen being sluggish, I'd worry more about you scratching grooves in your screen.

I think this guys should sell his iPad and buy a scratch post.

Noticed that the sound levels fluctuate as well. The lock sounds would get quieter whereas the keyboard clicks get louder.

If I reboot they would get normal for a while.

Jonasdamn,

Here is the bug I mentioned earlier if it hasn't already been brought up. I've seen other users report it.

u3ajyny4.jpg

There's no feedback when typing in password nor do you know how many digits who've entered.

Actually Safari on my iPad Air with 7.0.4 crashes every time I use pinch to Zoom on this very website.

I only moved from iOS 6 a couple of days ago, and I've already found two (minor) bugs... not off to a great start!

- Wind speed in Today View is in "kph" instead of km/h.
- If you open lyrics for a song, then skip to a song without lyrics (without going back out to the track list), then the lyrics panel will say "(null)".

I've reported both of these to Apple.

kph (kilometres per hour) is same as km/h ;D

km/h expands to kilo metres per hour.
kph expands to kilo pico hour, which makes no sense.

As per Wikipedia, "Symbols for derived units formed by division are joined with a solidus (/), or given as a negative exponent. E.g., the "metre per second" can be written m/s, [other examples removed due to formatting being lost]".

Wikipedia entry specifically for Kilometers per hour says that without a specific standard kph or KPH have been valid uses for it as well, and that even today some very large and well known and trusted publishing sources use kph (as in km/h).

iOS 7.1 beta released, go go Apple
would be cool if someone later with 7.1 would check if some of the bugs from this list is fixed, i can't because i dont have dev account
-Youtube upload bug
-Lockscreen glitch
-Slide to power off graphic bug
Those bugs can be eassily replicated

Weird glitch of art switched between songs and movie

Anyone seen this (happened on my son's iPad mini - 1st generation -- NOT retina)?

The album art for the last song that was playing, replaced the DVD cover for the lone movie he has in videos.

The movie in videos was paid for and downloaded from iTunes (Wall-E), and therefore came with the provided standard Wall-E DVD cover art.

The cover art on the song that was last played was applied in iTunes itself, manually (the song was part of a local CD collection and not downloaded from iTunes).

But Wall-E (in the videos app) now showed the album art for the song from the music app (that had been applied to the song manually), but when you played the movie, it played Wall-E of course.

Rebooting did not get rid of it. Shutting down "music" app completely did not get rid of it. Shutting down video app did not get rid of it. So Wall-E DVD art was gone and replaced with the album art for a song that had been played.

jonasdamn, I've just checked with a few other forum members and the multitask status bar bug is reproducible on 7.0.4 with iPhones 4S and 5. Not quite sure if any others are affected as well. Do you mind adding it onto the list?

After updating, my screen lock button doesn't work reliably, sometimes I have to press is 3 or 4 times. Is this something with the update or did my button just suddenly mess up?

do you have iPhone 5? if yes, then it is know hardware issue.

Alarm tone glitch in 7.0.4

This happened after updating to 7.0.4.

I have a custom tone I use for a daily alarm called Siren. In the clock app, placing the alarm in edit mode shows that I have the siren tone selected. If I select that, it takes me to the sounds screen where I can select any of the custom or built in tones. I touch my Siren and it plays the custom tone. Back out, make sure it's saved, and when the alarm actually sounds, it defaults to the first built in tone, ie "The Opening". If I select any of the built in tones, it plays the correct one when the alarm goes off, but if I try to use any of my custom tones, no dice. Always plays, "The Opening" when alarm sounds.

This was not happening under 7.0.3, and yes, I have reported the but to Apple via iphone/feedback.

Just wondering if anyone here can reproduce the error. I'm using a 64gb 5s.

I get the picture on the left with my 5s. I guess I didn't see it as a bug because each of the mini screens has the status bar in them.

I just realised the left picture I've posted didn't have the status bar in the app. That's a bug too. However, the left picture was only supposed to show that the status bar did not show at the top of the screen before I closed the message app. Right picture was the after photo where the status bar appears at the top. So I guess I've reproduced two bugs instead of one :p

I tried to reproduce what you showed but for me, the status bar does appear in the message app when composing a new message, even after double tapping to bring up the multitask screen, and when I closed the message app, there is still no status bar at the top of the phone's screen.

Just to confirm, did you do the following steps?

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Opening an app.
2. Double-click home button
3. Close the current app open by swiping upwards.
4. Status bar appears at the top of the multitask screen.

If you did, I guess the bug is just limited to some users including myself. :(

Ok, I followed those steps and can confirm what you are seeing. When I closed the app I had just opened, status bar did appear at top of phone screen. I guess the key is closing the app you just opened. Sorry for any confusion and thanks for posting the exact steps.

found voice memo bug:
how to reproduce: start voice recording, pause, resume and while screen is locked you dont see any recording information, blank screen.

Anyone also found this issue?
