The alarm issue with the icon, is still present for me but i don't understand what is happen. I set to off the alarm, the icon remains but the alarm is OFF or still on?

For me it happened once on iPhone 5, so far with 5S no issues related to alarm.

yes, only if you try harder it will reproduce because is very rare...and even if the alarm bar is set to off it still rings. So the icon is the real thing

I've been getting this problem too on my 5. it comes and go.

try cleaning the contact points on your sim card with alcohol and q-tips..
saw that solution online and gave it a go(without the alcohol tho) and so far no problem... yet. worth the try :D

Has this one already been mentioned. When you're in the multitasking view and return to an app or home screen, when the view zooms back in to fill up the screen, it actually does not do so correctly; it leaves a few rows of pixels at the top of the screen open, and then just after the zoom animation finishes the app view stretches to fill up that remaining space. This happens 100% of the time for me.

Yes. It's an issue exclusive to the iPhone 5s.

Fixed in the next update, according to people running the Beta versions.

These are awful lot of bugs!!! Does any one stay close to apple HQ, u might wanna consider having a meeting with one of the engineers.. # ..
But seriously, really sad

iOS 7.0.4 on iPhone 4S with activation lock enabled, coming out of a landscape app such as a game then going to task switcher causes this to occur.

One thing I found yesterday, If I turn off reduce motion, I have access to control center in both lock screen and home screen. If I turn it on, I only have access on the lock screen, on the home screen I can't access control center. Weird. And yes I have the options to access control center anytime turned on in the settings menu.

That happens to me even with rotation unlocked.

I bet it'll be fun re testing all these now 7.1 is out? I'll try and replicate the portrait lock issue and revert.

Can't force this now. Maybe it's fixed?

Help

Hi all,

I have some weird UI glitch on my iPhone 5S. It seems the screen/icons is shifted downwards (see first pic), the gap between the first row of icons and the time/signal/battery bar is bigger than usual (compared to second pic). This issue just started last night when I changed SIM cards and mobile SIM providers. The issue occurs randomly and to quick fix it, I pull the Spotlight search down and the screen appears normal.

Troubleshooting:
Soft reset, hard restore reset (tried setting up as brand new and previous backup - no difference), reset network settings.

Is this an issue I can fix, or wait for another update (I'm on iOS 7.1) or take it in to Apple?

Slide to unlock wouldn't slide today on my Air. I had to reboot the iPad.

This isn't a bug, it's due to the longer carrier name. I had the same problem with my 5S on t-mobile. I have my phone jailbroken so I installed the signal bars hack and the problem went away.

This started happening when Apple introduced the dots instead of the bars.

This was my very first thought as my new carrier has a longer name, however I have turned Airplane mode on (so there is no carrier name) and the issue still occurs.

It is a bit worse now. The image below shows a glitch while opening up an app, it goes quickly away once app is open

Does anyone know why jonasdamn got banned? His posts were well written, helpful and technically correct.
