Anyone noticed this with the iPhone 4? It seems to happen most often when I end a call using the button on the steering wheel while talking through my car's Bluetooth speakerphone.

After ending a call, the screen will have an end call button at the bottom of the screen but no matter where you push on the screen, nothing happens. The screen becomes unresponsive. Hitting the home key will make the screen responsive again.

Yes it's a bug that's been around for ages. I know I saw it on my 3GS and 3G. And it's happened numerous times on my 4.

This happened to me a bunch of times, but in a different way though. Whever i open and try to dial a number, the screen would show me the end call screen. And one more thing to add would be trying to answer a call when the phone is locked. The slide bar wont go till the end making me to miss those calls. But this never happens frequently so it doesnt bother me

Have had this problem before, and I have restored a few times, for other reasons, and it has made no difference.

Those that have the problem, are you jailbroken or not? Mine is...

Thanks and this is the first time I have had someone come up with an answer to the problem of the iPhone 4s beng stuck when hanging up a call.
How you found that solution is brilliant.
Thanks. All working again after weeks of messing around with it.
