Bumper Case is great!

Hi,

just got my iPhone 4 and the black bumper case.

It fits snugly and is easy to put on. It does not make the phone much thicker (bigger) and the middle ribbon is a smooth plastic so it glides in and out of pockets easily but the edge of the bumper is a soft gripy plastic for added grip.

The volume button and power button are metal and the action when you press them feels right (if that makes any sense).

Very happy with the bumper.

(oh yeah obviously you do not have that reception issue with a bumper on)

Makes me wish mine wasn't coming next week. I think I'll be stopping at the Apple store today to see what they have.
 
So let me just confirm, you are NOT having signal, issues with the bumper case? Evem holding it in the bottom left corner?
 
Can you tell how it would work with a thicker screen protector like a skin from BestSkinsEver?
 
booo my headphones dont fit proper and come out easy as they are very thick at the end and the bumper is in the way :(

nothing a sharp knife on my headphone won't fix though :)
 
I'm on the fence about a black bumper... but it doesn't look too bad... especially after seeing the scratched back glass on Engadget.
 
no the edge bit does stick out at the front and the back by about half a millimetre.

so when you put down your phone on a surface the phone won't actually touch it
 
I am noticing the problem with the bumper on, 4 bars down to 2 after a short wait. Don't forget it only protects the side and not the back. Plus when in the bumper it don't fit in the dock.

Do you have a dock? I didn't think they were shipping yet. I just want to make sure you tested the fit for yourself and not just going off of your suspicions.
 
Bumper looks really nice. Thanks for posting. Mine shipped last night but won't be here for a friggin week.

Any idea if Best Buy, Walmart, etc will be selling bumpers and other accessories?
 
Just ordered one in black. I hate the thought of covering up any part of the phone but I don't want dropped calls either. I'm on the phone a lot for work.
