I do hope Apple comes up with bumpers for the iPhone 5. I loved the one I had on my 4. First the Black one, then the Product(Red) one.
Can't wait to see more pics and what colors they come out with. So far I think it looks classy. I love my bumper case on my 4. I have had it as long as I've had the phone and its just now starting to crack at the bottom of the case near the connector port. It's the only case I've ever had on it.
I see this statement a lot and do not understand why. Do people even realize that Apple had already announced the bumpers at the iphone 4 keynote which was well before antenna gate even took off? To say that apple developed the bumper the alleviate the network issues is completely wrong (unless this would imply that apple was well aware of network issues and decided to ship the iphone anyway which doesn't make sense at all btw). They had the whole shebang of colors lineup and even had some for sale on launch day. They took those off the market and only allowed the black ones to be given away for free because of the case program. And began selling them again once it died down. I've seen countless articles stating that bumpers are useless and was apple's pitiful way of apologizing for bad service.
Got mine today, looks and fits great, a tiny bit looser than the Apple one for the IP4 which is great so it might not wear as fast when I take it off to clean out the dirt trapped in.

I searched eBay.com US version "iphone 5 bumper" there are quite a few of the same bumpers advertised, the price varies a lot though. I would think they would all be made in the same factory in China? I wouldn't be to scared getting one sent from a Chinese or HK seller.

Purchased a Candyshell grip (white w black grip stripes) til SGPs bumpers in stock (which comes with both a front and back protector). Also I really like the carbon fiber skin on the back of the bumper. (SGP + CF backing or leather skin if I can find one)
