Bumper iPhone 5?

Contacted several case manufacturers who currently sell bumper-style cases for the 4 and 4S. The only one to get back to me so far is BodyGuardz, who confirmed that they will indeed be selling a bumper-style case similar to the Ciderz case they currently sell to fit the 5 starting sometime in early to mid October.

I have this one and I like it. As for the writing of Monoprice on the side of the bumper, you can take some Goof Off that is safe for plastics to remove it. It comes off easily without damaging the case.

your local Target should have a bumber from the "Best Case" brand. they were out of stock for the iPhone 5 when i went, but their 4/4S version looks like a very close knock off to the Apple bumpers - metal volume/lock buttons and everything. i might pick one up if i can track one down. i think they are between $12 & $17 iirc.
 
MZD i think we might have went to the same target lol. I was look at their slim selection of IP5 cases whereas I saw the best bumper for the iPhone 4/4s and really liked the design.

ya...no that's not it. I've had one on my old iphone 4 for 2 years without a single scratch on the phone and multiple drops.

I was just in Target yesterday and saw the 4S version, with a sales tag for the iPhone5 on a hook. They said it should be in this week.

I'll pick it up and report in when it arrives.

Cool. Let us know. I've been looking for a local bumper and one that has the metal buttons. Would be great to be able to pick one up at Target.

my guess is it will be the exact same as the $5 ebay bumper someone posted on the previous page.

Just placed my order. Thanks for the link. I like how this bumper has individual cutouts in the bottom and metal volume switches. I'll take pictures when it arrives but I think you will have yours before mine.
 
Got my Photive bumper yesterday. Fits well, looks good. Only downside is that the rubber isn't very grippy, so it's a little slicker than I'm used to on bumper cases.

I think it'll show of the sides of the phone but I don't want the clear plastic to look cheap ... but it probably will haha
 
There are many bumpers for the iPhone 5 available online already, but I'm sure within a few weeks apple will have the official ones out.

I highly doubt Apple is going to do a bumper this time around. The bumpers from Apple are going to always be tied to the Antenna problems of the 4......so I don't think they want people to "think" they need a bumper for the 5.

I tried one of these from one of the kiosks in the mall.....the clear didn't look good to me.

they include their front & back skins which run $13.99 on their own. I wish there was a cheaper version without the skins...
