They are not supposed to give refunds yet.
Details will be released in about a week and it will be done thru a website.
Some that got a refund probably talked to a misinformed apple rep and he refunded them when he wasnt supposed to.
Which is exactly why we are asking...
There is no urgency in your situation. None. Zero. The only urgency might be in improving your ability to read and comprehend.
Starting next week, they are giving away bumpers/cases or refunding bumper purchases until September 30th. Is that so hard to understand? What part of that makes you think you only have until the 20th to return your bumper?
Oh and you totally don't get "Cool story bro", so maybe it's best not to use it. You're already a year late anyhow.
As I stated, the URGENCY is that I have absolutely no need $30 in apple store credit. I just lost my job, so I need the $30, so IF they are giving credit, and not cash, I need to know NOW, so I can return my case before the 20th, the date which is listed on my receipt. Since Apple has provided no specific information yet, I asked here hoping people might be able to provide some anecdotal information based on personal experiences.
Perhaps you need to improve YOUR reading comprehension.
You dont have to return the bumper by a certain date, if you bought one, your getting a refund.
And if you werent to lazy to read the above posts you would know that apparently "Some guy in England" got Cash
If you weren't too lazy to read above (ironically as you suggest), you would have seen my OTHER post where I said:
So has anyone managed to get their refund for a bumper yet? I've only seen one case where it worked, some guy from Engadget was able to do it, but it was in a European store.
I'm well aware of the ONE person who said they got cash back in England, but one case really is meaningless, so instead of assuming that's what's happening for everyone, I'm asking on these forums, I'm sorry it offended you so much.
