Bumper-type case?

On closer inspection the sharp edges of the inside of the frame are actually malleable silicone. But I won’t trust this to protect the phone from damage.

I had that bumper for my Iphone 11 Pro Max and it didn't survive a fall from waist high. The bumper dented and caused a dent in the phone corner. The problem I found: the case was not tight enough. I then brought the Rino Shield and I kinda liked it but it is slippery and awful thick. The 11 Pro I had was black so all bumpers come in black but this time I got the gold and I can't find a Rino Shield color combo that works with the gold. Rino Shield if your listening how about a clear one? Anyway, be careful with that bumper.

I am thinking of using a metal bumper and tempered glass on the front and back. I am going with the Pacific blue color so the blue metal bumper would be a good match.

I bought this same one and thought, "Ooh the lip edges are good for the camera bump at least"... and they are, but this case is really uncomfortable to me. I've already taken it off.

The front of the screen isn't really protected at all because the bumper is fairly flush with the front screen (I have a screen protector anyway).

For now I've given up on the dream of just a bumper... I'm using a saddle brown Apple Leather case for leaving the house, and am tinkering with caseless at home -- the phone is SO much more comfortable without a case. My front screen protector came with a glass camera protector so I popped that on this morning. Going to head out to take pics to see if it degrades the quality much. My only concern caseless is scratching up the lenses if I put the phone down on a counter at home on its back. :/
