I'm looking to upgrade and comparing 13" MBA to 13" rMBP... I will probably go the rMBP, but am waiting for the Haswell to see if it's that much better.

Also I am waiting partly because I don't really NEED a new MacBook...

I ended up buying a lightly used 13" rMBP on eBay. It was/is my first MacBook so I figured I should try it out without investing too much. If the Haswell rMBPs are fantastic I'll wait until they are in plentiful supply and sell my current model for the new one. Hopefully I won't lose too much money that way.

If you need then don't buy.

And, as you might already know, it is very likely that Haswell does bring you mostly battery improvements. Haswell does have some good power improving stuff inside (which doesn't appear on benchmarks).

Get it now enjoy it, baby it, keep it pristine and then sell it back to a reseller to get up to 1800 towards the new ones ;)
