Buy MacBook Pro 13" Now or Wait?

I'm in a similar situation and I'm waiting for the new MBP. It depends on how often you upgrade your computers, but apple does have a way of forcing you to upgrade by making new OS/devices not compatible with old models.

My ibookG4 was slow, but functional until i bought the iPhone4 and wasn't able to sync to the OS. I had to use my girlfriends PC and manually enter all contacts. The newer OS doesn't work with my laptop, so i'm SOL.

With technology (laptops especially) get the best you can afford at the beginning of the product cycle. I'm waiting on new MBP, then iPad2, then iPhone 5. I'm really hoping the new MBP's come out soon as my iBook is pretty much worthless anymore.
 
So I will be buying one, regardless of update, on the 19th of February. My question is, if I don't like the upgrade or it doesn't suit my needs, will the apple store still carry the older models. I have to buy on the 19th and I have to buy in store (due to military orders and time frame I'm under and constantly moving in the next few weeks/months).

Why should it make the OP feel bad? If the C2D is more than sufficient for the OP's needs and wants, which s/he hasn't stated yet, why shouldn't the C2D suffice for that. Websites or documents or videos or music won't load/be edited/play faster with a faster CPU.
 
Since there's no restocking fee anymore buy now and return it when the new ones comes out.

If the new ones are released in more than a month then I guess you're out of luck.

Ah, forgot about that. I don't know if I'll be able to return in it or not in that time frame, but it kind of eases my mind.
