Buy S3 from Verizon or Apple?

Maybe, or it could just mean that you just pay the full amount up front, or they could have both options.

They told me today in chat that it will be 6 months like their other smart watches. AT@T is offering 20 months

So I also called Verizon and got the stats of the deal. I'm still on the fence primarily because they said if I turn off the device down the road and then go back to start it again I would have to pay the reactivation fee. I guess I've got a few more hours to think about it.

Did they say the same 6 months?
 
Insult to injury, not only is it 10 a month, you have to buy from them to get the 3 free monthso_O

Has that been absolutely confirmed? I might activate with AT&T, but did not know till coming across this thread that you'd have to buy it from the carrier?
 
Verizon is counting it like adding another line - so you cannot just use the watch on if you have a single line account. you have to change plans AND pay them $10 a month for less data and the plan costs more
 
Well I got mine through Apple, Verizon did not have the sea shell sports loop, in fact I don’t think they hand any sports loops, just the sport band. So we shall soon see about the discounted 3 months.

I'm just ordered from Apple assuming it didn't matter to get activation fee waived and 3 months free. That will be a bummer if not.
 
I noticed VZW delivery is not until 9/29. I'm staying with Apple order but maybe i'll visit a VZW store on 9/22 to see if they have stock.

The model I wanted was not shown on the Verizon website but I called and was able to order on the phone.

Wasn't there a post about a delay or shortage for the Nike watches? The website says coming soon on those for Verizon. I think I read that they wouldn't be available immediately.
 
Verizon just pissed me off so much - I spent the morning switching to ATT
I don't like them all that much better -but verizon was awful
