Don't forget about the nodus access case
http://thenoduscollection.com

Have you or anyone else tried this case? It looks great but its a little scary that a $850 device is basically held in place with little suction cups!

I was really looking for a slimline portfolio case that when shut, the front of the case locks to the phone with a magnet or something without having that extra piece that goes from the back of the case to the front like a lot of these types of cases have.

I was looking at this one for example, but it visually isn't nearly as nice as the Nodus case: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NCYMHX4/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A222X4SZL8V9A5

I was also looking at this one, but it does not specify if the front of the case can lock to the phone (with a magnet) when it closes:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NJ0TXLK/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1Y3HPM0ZALZLM

But if the Nodus case actually works it might be the one I go with.

Thanks!

Lifeproof?

I'm holding out for the Lifeproof Fre.

Slimmer than Otterbox Defender, and just as shock resistant.
-also dust proof
-also water resistant (Rinse it off at the sink when it's dirty, or go swim with it)
-protects the screen from scratches

I'm just gonna be using my OctoArmor case. I was planning on using it for a short while until more customer reviews come in for others, but this one is actually pretty good.

I preordered the iPhone 6+. I am trying to find a case with a built in screen protector. I can never get the sticky ones on. I always mess them up. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Check out ZooGue. Right now they are $4 plus shipping.
They're really quite nice, surprisingly. I wasn't expecting them to be any good but I've been using the Social Pro for 3 years now.

The colors are a bit hideous but the gray and black are great.

Also The Incipio NGP FTW. Not bulky and very very good protection. Saved my bacon a couple of time. $20 isn't that bad.

+1 for ZooGue. They are extremely nice and has a very great build. Light and strong.

SPECK have been my go to iPhone case since forever, although their limited colours and design for the 6+ compared to the 6 is disappointing. Oh and the fact that they appear to have sold out of all their current stock....
I used to get the Speck candyshell but after a few months the rubber would always deteriorate and shred on me. They do free replacements but at got tured of having to do that. And they aren't always cheap. The incipio NGP lasted me 2 years and looks as good as the day got it. It's a nice material. Then I tried the ZooGue social pro which held up well but after a year a stretched little bit. I can't complain for the $5 I paid for it.

Just got my knomo folio case. Looking to return it. The finish of the leather join looks really rushed. If it was a £5 case, fine, not on a £35 one :(

Yes I'm being picky, but these guys usually deliver high end products...

Why is that every case with a kickstand is super bulky? Can't they do something slim? Does anyone know of something out there already?

Hey, just saw this. Absolutely, I backed them on kickstarter and have been using the Access case with my 5s. The micro suction is excellent, I can shake the case vigorously without any worry of it slipping out.

I pre-ordered the iPhone 6 Plus case and am using the iPad Mini case as well.

You might like the SurfacePad from http://TwelveSouth.com. The screen is about all it protects though.

I use the Nodus Access case. http://thenoduscollection.com

@bartonjd just get a flygrip. Google it. Stick it to any case. Super slim profile and will accomplish what ur looking for if u mount it sideways.

So far the BEST case by FAR I've found, in price and quality is the luvvitt case for $10 on Amazon. Can't beat the significant drop protection, slim profile, and quality workmanship of this case. Fits snug and so far so good. I'd absolutely buy a second one.

No mention of SwitchEasy? For shame. I have their TONES case on my iPhone and 5 and just pre-ordered the iPhone 6 version.

I have this on my i5. It was deemed best i5 case in many reviews. Covers the whole phone and protects well. It is a great case! Not to many color choices for the 6 though and a slightly different design than on the i5. http://www.switcheasy.com/store/iPhone+6

I'm looking for a basic case with a clip for when I walk/jog etc with my phone.
I have this one for my 4S and it is a bitch to get on and off but I still use it nearly daily. Armbands and me tend not to mix so this was a great alternative.

I have yet to find anything I can easily slip on and off. I don't want my everyday case to be one with a clip or anything like that.

One of my favorite :apple: case

Happy Case Hunting :D;)

Am using this one now. It's OK, but since it's TPU, it's a bit flexible on the sides but has a PC band around it that will hopefully help protect it from a drop.

Nice feel, but my main problem is I use a Tetrax XWAY in my car, so my cases need to have a magnetic button stuck to the back of the case. The adhesive on the Tetrax buttons won't stick to the back of this case. They fall right off, so ultimately, I will probably need a polycarbonate case to keep using Tetrax system in my car.

I am using this one from x-doria

It does use a magnet to hold the front cover, but not a very strong hold.

Wow are these cases ugly... Does anyone know where to finde nice cases or sleeves, I'd like to take my iPhone out when I use it, I want to feel the materials of the iPhone and not a cheap plastic case.

Here's another good one, that was not listed in the article. Got this at Best Buy. Seems to be working great for me. I dropped my iPhone 6 3 times, the day I got the case, without any damage to my phone.

Platinum with Holster and Kickstand

How secure is the iPhone in the holster? Does it take much effort to remove/unlock it from the holster?

I'm a fan of leather vertical holsters with swivel clip, but have not found one for my 6 yet, that I like. I did have a plastic case/holster combo for another phone, and a couple of times, the phone would slip out of the holster (and onto the ground) by itself. Not good.

I don't want to have to fumble with unlatching the phone so wondered how difficult you find this case/holster combo?

It doesn't get much better than the Apple leather cases from I've seen so far. I'm sure other "fine" cases might be out there or will be coming soon, but the apple leather is pretty nice.

Also it has been a very long time since I got a Vaja case. They're hand made in Brazil from fine leather. They aren't cheap but if you want quality materials and an attractive case, check them out.
http://www.vajacases.com/
You can customize them from about 25 different colors of 4 kinds of leather. Damn, now I'm thinking about ordering one.
