Buyer's remorse for those who preordered before an appointment

Got SS with sport band, wish I would have gone with SS with bright blue leather loop. Will probably buy a leather loop or similar 3rd party option.

On the 10th, I ordered a 42mm Space Grey Apple watch, then went to the Apple store that day for a try on appointment.

I still love the look of the Space Grey watch, but I have to say, the Stainless Steel watch in silver really is stunning. Apples renders don't capture how good it really looks. The way it reflects its environment looks great. Ironically, it's something the Space Black SS model doesn't really do, which when it was first announced, I was the most excited for.

I'm still happy with my choice, and had never planned on spending the premium cost of stainless steel over aluminium, but I did have a sense of regret, if only for a moment.

What I do regret, is not having ordered an additional band on the 10th. I actually quite liked the look and feel of the leather loop in black.

If I had been able to see them in person prior to my order I might have spent more. As it is, we went with the sport. Stainless may look nicer but since it does not do anything better we saved a few hundred dollars.

I guess we could look at it like that. I bought the sport purely on the apple name and me being me wanting to be on the edge of tech. So I bought the cheapest possible model to get the functions.

If I had seen the stainless steel in person, I wouldve spent the extra $290.
Not too late now, but June is too late.

I preordered 42mm SS Classic buckle. I don't mind the price but after trying on 42mm SG in store, I want that one.

I changed to a white sport, and after seeing them in person, I'm glad I did. In photos the space grey looks better, but in life the aluminium does.

Pre-ordered 38mm SG sport. Want the 42mm SG sport.

Both on order. May 13-27 for the 38mm and June for the 42mm.

Not sure what I'll end up doing. I had a $45 off coupon applied to the 42mm oder making them the same price, but June?

How did you get a coupon?

I was undecided about ordering and waited until late morning on the 10th. I pre-ordered the white sport model and the SS with modern buckle and went to the Apple store later that day to look at them. After seeing the watches in person I preferred the SS and cancelled the white sport. I have June for shipment, but if I had waited it would be July for the SS with the pink modern buckle. No buyers remorse here - I love the watch I'm getting.

No poll options for those that waited until after we checked it out to order? I really regret not ordering the second I could. I knew what I wanted but wanted to see it in person first. I saw it in person and was very happy with it. Now I'm waiting until June.

Ordered the Std Buckle, wish I went with the Milanese Loop after checking them out at the Apple Store. Oh well, I'll survive.
