Too much risk on eBay unless the phone is new and sealed.
You don't know what parts have been replaced. Some buy phones from the Apple store, strip the OEM parts, replace them with third-party parts, and return it.
The majority of people here wouldn't be able to tell the difference between an OEM display or dock connector vs. a third-party replacement part unless it were sitting side by side.

6 is better than 6S and 7, IMO. Thinner, lighter, without the useless forcetouch. Headphone jack.

I think it's fine if you look at the rating of the seller, the pictures their posting and the description.

I have an iPhone 6. I just upgraded to iOS 11 - and it feels a lot snappier now! Time will tell how it performs (and how the battery life and other stuff is), but so far I am quite happy with the upgrade.
But as others have said - if you can get an iPhone 6s for not much more, that might be a better way to go. But the iPhone 6 is still a good phone in 2017-

Get the 6s and put ios11 in it. The phone will run fine!
Only reason why I'm still running ios9 on my 6s is because it's jail-broke. There's a lot of tweaks/customizations which I don't want to give up.

And better battery I think , I have used both phones , 6 battery was more good against 6s battery.
If you can , buy cheap one and next year or years get 8 or 8s maybe.
Problem with getting a 6 in the near future is you'll end up having to install iOS 11 on it. Than means hello slower phone.

Actually i won't buy anything lower than iPhone 7 the 6 or even 6s hardware in 2017 especially in iOS 11 is just like upgrading an iPhone 4S from iOS 7 to iOS 8 which performance DRAMATICALLY DROPS... 1.85Ghz is a TURN OFF FOR me.. Don't forget that even iPhone 6S has 2GB ram but in reality RAM is only used for multitasking but the 2.35Ghz of iPhone 7 or 3.2 Ghz on iPhone 8 has waaaaay more powerful. Once iOS 12 come iPhone 6 has only 1 year remaining before it's final update. or maybe the iOS 12 won't support the regular 6 anymore, only 6S will get iOS 12 but expect that to be much much slower. IF your planning to iPhone buy the latest the 8/X. Or if your budget tight go with 7 it's only double the price of 6.

iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S ARE TOTALLY STILL WORTH it to buy if it runs iOS 9 or 10 at least.. and only if iOS 11 is FULLY FIXED, iOS 11.1 Still slower than iOS 10.3.3 I wonder why people cannot see any difference between the real speed of iOS 10.3.3 vs iOS 11.1. I would wait if iOS 11.4 with much stable like no touch disease, no delay on audio when using bluetooth earphone, and slow performance. Back in iOS 1-9 When .1, .2 came it became faster but iOS 11 made it reverse.
On iOS 11 only 2016 device and up are considered fast. while device that has clocked processor of 2.0Ghz below and iPhone 6S/ iPhone 6 is one of them is getting slower.

Truelaley sister so True and i agree with you.. but i think that is for iPhone 7, The 6S is also a failure device with such incomplete Product. However RAM isn't gonna make phone faster launching apps. 6/6S/SE is not waterproof, lacks encoding, and many more like UGLY antenna bands. unless They Cannot afford or does not have the money to buy iPhone 7 or newer why not ??? 7 can last until 2021 because of 2.35Gigaherts, it's 500-950Mhz higher than 6 ir 6S. That's big enough just like 4S to 5 upgrade.
