I also love the Mac Keyboard and trackpad PC is so stupid

PC: Would you ever switch back to a PC?
MAC: Don't say the P-Word!
PC: P-word?
MAC: Yeah, the one that starts with a P and ends with a C.

I bought a new MacBook Pro, and I am wowed by everything (It's my first mac) Even the trackpad and the lighted keyboard I went onto my PC laptop to get my iTunes library off of it and I couldn't even use the trackpad without pushing down to tap and doing 2 finger swipes to scroll. I am wondering if this had happened to anybody else.

That happened to me yesterday. I have an old toshiba and it has these large nasty plastic/metal coloured buttons that require alot of force to 'click' them. It's horrible! No two finger scrolling. Just horrible. I also think it makes a difference having a layer of glass on the MBP, makes everything more precise. :apple:

How do you figure? I find that once the MBP touchpad is calibrated through preferences, nothing can beat it. The only thing I would use a mouse for would be gaming or detailed graphic work. Everything else, glass touchpad!

I agree. And the graphic work would have to be very detailed

you guys should get better windows-based machines.

i use a mbp and a quad core pc and both feel flawless.

the efficiency is remarkable.

I prefer using the trackpad on my MBP for everything aside from playing games. That said, I do understand why PC users can't believe why we Mac users like our trackpads so much. I tried a PC trackpad the other day, I gave up.

It's hilarious to read post after post, year after year from fanboys that pump up their ego, or justify their purchase, claiming there is a drastic difference in these two platforms.

Nice try, you must have horribly old, or battered PC's.

I use both, they are very close in configuration and as much as I enjoy my 2010 MacBook Pro, my 2010 ThinkPad is so close it's not even worth comparing.

There I've just waved the green flag for you haters to go on the attack...ha..ha..ha...

Have at it boys and girls... :)

Not sure, but I'm pretty sure it won't happen to most people, especially if you're a student. All the computers at my school run on Windows, so I won't be forgetting to use it anytime soon, and for a large portion of people who are going over to the Mac after long term Windows usage, they won't forget how to use a PC that quickly. I hope.
