I have found tiny _micro_ scratches on my Sports grey, I do find this slightly irksome.

I have tried two top rated screen protectors both rubbish & sent back, due to the curve on the face.

Mediadevil (who I usually swear by) wont even make a screen protector quote:

'Due to the curve on the screen of the Apple Watch, we have not been able to release a protector that we're completely happy with, and we are currently still working on the design.'

hope this helps.

I think a bigger watch looks better on a big guy than a little watch does, but on a smaller guy they can usually wear either and it looks ok. A small watch on a big buy kind of looks like a kids watch our toyish.

Those are the ones I bought, they look really good! Can't tell it's on there, which is good. No bubbles, no obvious orange peel (though it's slight if viewed at an angle with the right lighting).
Photo shows some finger prints and glare, but you'd have to look real close to see if it's there.

edit: here's a larger side view, trying to show reflections/quality of the screen protector. The line around the edge is glare, this thing disappears on the screen!

Do you think I should get the 42mm Gold Sport or the Stainless Steel? (I'm male btw)
I've had a silver sport since launch. Bought the cheapest because I wasn't sure if I'd like it or not.

Love it now. Very useful. Would buy it again.

But coming back to your question: If the only choice was between gold (aluminum) and steel, I'd go with steel simply because I'm unsure how durable the gold finish is.

You really can't go wrong with a steel watch.

IMO don't get the Gold Sport... it's a bit to blingy on a guy.

Just ebayed a 2 mo old 42mm Sport to try out, -for about half retail, I think it will be worth it. I used to have iPods that cost about that. with bt headphones I can work out with it etc w/o the phone.

I would never purchase a shiny gold colored watch, but the matte gold color I think looks okay.

I have a gold colored iPhone as well, so I might be a bit strange.

EDIT: F*CK. Of course this thread is 6 months old. Oops!

Just gotta see which one feels right. I will say the Stainless Steel means less work when looking for bands, but doesn't matter much if you don't like the look enough.

I am starting to think this AFEPPL dude has some sort of anti-Apple agenda. Find just about any thread on here where people are asking for advice on purchasing the watch and he says over and over again how much he hates it. Dude, we get it. You don't like the watch. You can leave now and let the rest of us give each other objective advice.

You know there is something called a 14 day return policy right? Let the guy try it out and decide if he wants it or not. Just because YOU don't like it doesn't mean what you say is the absolute truth.

You're both aware this thread is almost 6 months old, right?

I'm pretty sure op will have bought one or not by now...
