You'll have to find a knockoff, because there's no way Apple would sell that.

Wow nice find, wonder if they'd sell the shell seperately? Suppose it's not going to cost too much anyway

    ----------

Oh man they actually do have them listed seperately, wish I knew Chinese

    ----------

    Wait they're 130 yen?

    edit: haha yuan of course

Got a mate who knows chinese to read it, says:

"yeah its the shell, but he says there is a massive hole on one side.
    dont know if thats legit.

also he said it has a few scratches and are knock offs from the factory where apple
    makes them.

But it is China so you may just get sent a desktop pc. Who knows.

Pretty cheap though that'd be $25ish [NZD]

Could be a mish getting it sent over though and take ages."

Think I might grab a couple

I'd still like to see if its possible to put the 2011 parts into the 2010 case with a superdrive. If anyone gives it a shot please post your results.

I have a feeling it won't work. I'm not familiar with Mac Mini's much but don't they now have it to where two HDDs can fit? I wonder if they accomplished that by eliminating the SuperDrive.

The 2010 was always able to have 2 hard drives.
