Sorry to jump in with a little different question. But, I know this topic has been covered a lot. I too am thinking of a Verizon model for ATT. Only hoping, per some comments, it may acquire and hold a weak signal better. As some of my business appts are rural.

Specifically, can I buy, paid in full, a Verizon X. Take it and set up on ATT. Will Target allow that? I am assuming it will come with a Verizon sim. But, it won't matter. Take it out and put my sim in and set up on ATT.

Or, would it be safer to buy thru Apple the Verizon X, sim free. Paid in full and not tied to any carrier. They are allowing that now.

Thanks

Interesting test. Shows Intel on ATT outperforming Qualcomm on ATT.

buy from Apple if you want to do what you are planning.

Can I purchase a Verizon model iphone x at apple store without a verizon account but using IUP installment plan, rather than paying in full?
