Threads like this give Apple a run for their money?
If you say so.
The iPhone is far from the best thing ever. Its a cellphone, it might be great for some but not for others. Its a personal choice.
You dont like it, get something else and move on.
Noone needs to explain why and how and when to anyone on the internet about their choice.
But from what I noticed from your few posts all you do is come to an iphone/apple forum and create negativity. If you dont like the particular product or products then why bother registering and posting here? Move on to an Android or verizon based forum?
Good idea?
Well I own a Macbook Pro, so I don't plan on leaving anytime soon, but thanks for the invitation!

PS Why are you stalking my posts?

My 8330 is going in the recycle bin as soon as the iPhone 4G is out. I'm tired of the horrid browsing experience and severe lack of attention to UI. Blackberries are junk. As long as they use that god awful scroll ball they will fail. They should move up to the touch interface, oh wait...they failed at that one too.

Im not, Im just curious when I see newbies that just joined the site and all 12 of their posts are full of negativity towards the iPhone or Apple in general.
Makes me wonder what or why are they here besides wanting to Troll....

I have been thinking about getting the white 9700...simply for looks. Other than it looks, if i switch, I KNOW I will miss the apps, the web browsing especially the iPod feature; mp3 with the BB just wouldnt cut it when i use it at the gym, nothing can replace an iPod when it comes to music.

But it's getting really close to the release of the new iPhone so I might as well wait, don't wanna regret getting 9700 just for its sophisticated looks...maybe I'm just getting tired of the same old phone for two years (3G to 3GS = same look) so yea feels like two years for me now haha!

BUT DAMN, if the new iPhone does look the same AGAIN, then F**K IT, I'm just gonna play with a new BB for awhile : P

I have a Bold for work and an iPhone for personal.

I use the iphone for both and leave my BB at work or at home.

The bold is a piece of crap, it is slow, useless and the app range for BB is nowhere near that of iPhone OS.

Enjoy the few weeks where a cleanly installed BB seems fast, but it will slow down like an elderly driver in front of you when you are in a rush.

I like your move to Blackberry, I myself though am getting a HTC instead. They seem less, obnoxious than Apple.

Its a phone not your wife you dont have to explain why your leaving.

But anyways don't get a BB get a HTC if your going to switch from the iPhone

i love people like you guys giving apple a run for their money. these fanboys think iphone is the best thing since sliced bread, and it really isnt.

Well duh. He posted this on an iPhone forum, what type of response would you expect? "great move, its an awesome phone, the iPhone sux" No of course not. This place is filled with folks who like/love/desire apple products.

The OP should have just created a blog for his desire to post that he got a BB

Personally I don't hate BlackBerrys they're good phones, but the iPhone is better.

I wonder if he posted a BB forum, that got an iPhone over a BB, how would that be received. About the same, I suspect - with much derision

Why not have both iphone and blackberry bold 9700?

I carry both all the time. I use the iphone 3gs with my ATT service. I use the Bold 9700 with my Tmobile service.

I was actually using all 4 (Android (G1), Symbian (nokia e71), along with my old Bold 9000 and iphone 3g at this time last year.

Carrying both phones, I have the best of both world. I get the battery life and keyboard/emails of the Bold 9700 (plus UMA) and I get the multimedia capabilities of the iPhone 3GS.

Because most people don't have the cash to burn? Why pay for two cell phone contracts, and confuse people with two different phone numbers (unless you're using google voice I suppose).

Its not a good use of money in my opinion to spend $$ on ATT and tmobile.

It's not that much extra if you have a family member.

I am the main account holder for my ATT service. My brother is the main account holder for his Tmobile service.

So I added a line and got my brother an iPhone 3GS. And my brother has a line for my BB Bold 9700 on his Tmobile line.

That's how I get the best of both worlds.

I've actually convince 3 of my co-workers to go the two phone method. They all have Blackberries (either with Verizon or Tmobile) and iPhones (with ATT). They love it.

There's no "perfect phone" out there in terms of keyboards, battery life, multimedia capabilities, plus international roaming (I am out of the country at least 4 times a year and Tmobile has much better international Blackberry email plans than ATT). So iPhone Plus Blackberry (especially with UMA) is the perfect combination at this time.

Sure it's a little extra money; if you can afford it, that's what I would recommend.

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought these were forums, not fanboy police headquarters. If I have my own opinion on something, I'll post it as I damn well please.

Do you even own any Apple products? I saw your post about your Droid but the only other ones are attacking Apple owners and calling them fanboys. You have a right to your opinion but the way you go about expressing it is very childish and in poor spirit. That type of behavior will get you banned from this forum very quickly.

I sold my iPhone last week and using a Bold 9700 until I get my EVO. This phone sucks! I miss my iPhone like crazy

@poopsalot #firm #relieving Took a poop at work today. Quite solid, very relieving. It was a good choice to go when I did.

Am I doing it right? :D

And I'm going to call you a fanboy of something since that seems to be the usual argument that people throw out when they are losing an argument.

Am I doing it right? :)

I bought mostly all major cellphone brands from nokia, Sony Ericsson, blackberry, samsung, lg, etc.

And I can honestly say my iPhone 3G s is the best of em all , the rest of brands hang and lag like hell and I couldn't stand it. So iPhone is truly revolutionary ;) GO APPLE

iPhone ftw:cool::apple:

I'm almost 100% sure that the thread starter will either be in line to purchase the phone or glued to the screen in a couple weeks when Apple releases info on the new iPhone.

Enjoy your BB until then. I've been through 3 of them with the company I use and you haven't experienced lag until you get a BB. I bet we see his Bold pop up in Ebay.

And no- before you label me a fanboy, I use the iPhone because it is a quick and efficient way to keep up with my job. Plus I am on AT&T, and that rules out any decent Android option.

Semi off topic but I love how all these people appear on forums to talk about these amazing iPhone killer alternatives like the Palm Pre, HTC phones, Blackberry Storm. Where are these phones now? HTC has had to release how many models before they got it right? Apple doesn't receive enough credit for making a phone and doing it right the first time. That's why these other phone manufacturers have struggle to keep up in the marketplace and the popularity contest. Android phones are the only phones remotely close to the functionality and quality of the iPhone and its still no where on par. Android phones aren't nearly as functional and polished feeling as iPhone OS. They are simply peoples way of making themselves feel better about not being able to get an iPhone for whatever reason. It's just like the Linux kiddies that run themes to make their OS look like a Mac but trash Macs on Internet forums like it's serious business.

PS. I don't own an iPhone so no fanboyism here for people to troll.

The reasons are such:

1.) The lag, every iPhone I have had is never fast enough. When I go to load up messages or emails it can take an age just to pull up the app. Not good when your in a rush. The keyboard is a real hate though, it often struggles to keep up when you first open up the keyboard and the spell correction consistently tries to change words which were correct to start with.

Which iPhone do you have? My 3Gs never EVER lagged.

3.) No Flash...now this never bothered me. But what does bother me is Apple trying to send Flash to the wall. Flash powers some of the most innovative websites on the internet yet Apple's 'my way or the highway' attitude really niggles me....I guess it goes back to the competition thing. Kicking in doors and throwing law suits about like toys out of a pram really annoys me too, you wouldn't see Nokia do it, Samsung etc..but Apple seems to think they are special, even when human error is the source of their problems.

You can go mumbling all you want about the lack of flash on the iPhone and iPad but the fact still remains: Flash is mediocre technology at best. And IMO legacy garbage software from the ancient times. You can't just "fix it" to run on different platforms. Or "let's try to get it to run better". This is not how proper software is written. Software has to be completely written and designed from the ground up with a certain mindset and goals. Some people might not be happy about Apple trying to rid the world from flash, but in the long run it is good for everyone.

4.) Every teenager and chav has an iPhone now. The iPhone has lost it's class. I know Apple wants to boost sales but the iPhone has really lost it's flare. I use my iPhone for a lot of business use, but around colleagues I feel that the iPhone doesn't give off a sharp business image, but looks somewhat childish and amateur.

The iPhone is the best designed and most streamlined smartphone on the market. Period.

In short can u tell me how Apple company and their products are? Is it worth use able or not?
