When I read the thread title I thought you were going to tell us that you were locked in a cage for a day or something like that.

Anyways Ferrets are awesome!

they are cool but they tend to stink and they tend to use any corner for a potty.
 
If you're planning on caging me be warned - you're gonna need a HUGE cage, and I tend to eat a lot. Meat, mostly. ;)



What do you intend to train your caged animal to do?

I think I'm going to go with a "Fancy Rat". I plan on teaching it to do my household chores I don't wish to do (clean dishes, vacuum, get mail, etc).

Just kidding, I'm just wanting it to be a bonding companion. You can teach the pet rats to sit, stand, count, etc. It's really neat.
