If there's one thing that's stopping me from downsizing, it's the awesome battery life on the plus model.

If the 6s had as good battery as the 6s+ i'd get the former. I love the battery life.. thats the primary reason. Ive had a 6+ for a year and overall i'm happy - because for me battery life is the #1 prio.

yeah pretty much. I like how the 6 fits in the pocket but the 6 plus just has amazing battery life that I can't give up even though I wish the bezels were smaller. The 6 is the perfect size phone but after the battery life and getting used to the screen I can't downgrade to it.

I have to admit I have the opposite concern. After using the iPad Mini 2 as a smartphone replacement for a year and a half, I'm ready for something less cumbersome but worried I'll have trouble adjusting to the much smaller screen of the 6s+. But I bet the increased portability will be amazing. I cannot easily put the Mini in a pocket even in a pinch, it has to go in my purse 24-7, ya'know?

Firstly, hi all, new to this forum and not sure why i hadn't discovered this platform sooner! Been using iPhones since the 3g days!

I conveniently have 12 month upgrade cycles so that i can move to the newest release every year and am unsure what to do this time round.

Had an iPhone 6 for 11 months and was more than happy with it.

This year, I am considering going for a +... am a little worried that i may find it too large.

Is there any + users out there that find their phones too big or is it something that one gets used to??
I have a 5S and 6+ and I really love my +. I don't find it obnoxiously large. Try it; you do have a 14-day return/exchange window.
