I've got one that I would be willing to sell for the right price. It is brand new in the box and part Number M8513LL/A.

I am willing to ship to Australia. I even have the original box it shipped in from apple in 2001 with the matching part/serial sticker on the box. PM me or email me to work out a deal.

this is really weird, because iPod 4G U2 has rather large production numbers. i understand that people might pay 2000 pounds for an iPod 1G still factory-sealed, but for an iPod U2 this is IMHO way to much.

Regards, Baguette.

I thought the same thing, however you could type in best offer and maybe put a realistic price maybe =/

You're missing out the new Classic! Haha! Don't sweat it I was jk. I admire your hard work and dedication you put into collecting all of these iPods. Well done. :apple:

Hello guys!

Just to say that I have one iPod 4G 20Gb brand new sealed in box (with brown retail box from apple store). PM if you are interested.

Yeah, I saw this auction too.

But the seller doesn't realize that this is a 2nd gen iPod with the orange graphic on the box, which was released in 2002 (NOT 2001). As we all know, the original 2001 first gen was in a plain white box with "iPod" written in black.

Even though the 5GB stayed the same (with moving scroll wheel) in 2002, this is still a 1.1 or 2nd generation iPod.

Will be interesting to see how high the price goes.

It's a 1.1G, but I would never buy it, just knowing that it isn't truly the first iPod.

Still, biddings going well. £181 already!

Pin Connectors with old iPod

I had my BOSE sound dock go into repairs to exchange the pin connectors to allow the newer models of iPods to be able to charge properly. I was wondering if I had an iPod video 30 GB, would it be compatible with the newly changed pin connectors in the sound dock?

To complete the collection, need a new iPod shuffle, nano and touch!

Hey Psykomaniaque:

I know you have an impressive collection of sealed iPods. If you end up completing it with all the generations (even the very first one), what do you think it's going to be worth in total?

I don't know the worth in total. I think it depends the persons. There are people who can paid very much for a sealed iPod. For example, I don't think that I will paid more than 300-400 dollars for a 1G sealed. All my sealed iPod where good opportunity's (iPod HP sealed = 120$, iPod 3G sealed = 150$, iPod 4G sealed = 110$). I remember to have seen an iPod 3G sealed as mine sold 850$!!!

But, I think that I will make a break in the collection. Because I have to buy a new motorbike!:D

PS: Sorry for my Frenglish:p
