It’s the opposite. Especially DCRainmaker is a garmin fanboy extreme 😎
I quite like DC and DesFit but yeah even though DC has an Apple Watch Ultra on his wrist for much of his content (follow him on Instagram as well) he quite obviously prefer Garmin. And no harm in having a favorite

Most professional trail runners are not using Garmin. In fact they are using Suunto watches.

Why? They do not need any recommendations from a watch or toys. They need tools ;).

The only thing you really need is a good coach and a watch with a good GPS or a stryd.

If you are a pro you are using a heart rate strap. Have you ever seen a pro without a heart rate strap? ;) Again. They need a tool. Not a toy ;) or SAT iQ :D

I am not a pro but running 350 to 450 k a month. I would never ever use a wrist based heart rate measurement when I would be interested in that values. I am using power for training. Not the crappy Garmin power but stryd power for my running. Heart rate is interesting but nothing more ;)

Btw. recently the last months Garmin try to push their Garmin power and stryd was not working properly. Shame on them. It's still not possible to use the stryd app from the IQ :D store without overwriting the power values
