Remember a story about one of the UK police force's that patrol the M1 (biggest motorway in Britain) buying Lotus Esprit's to use as patrol cars - fuzz got fed up with supercars leaving them for dead.

Can you imagine 30 or so cops all trying to get issued with Lotus's for there days shift?

A police Smart car is a great idea, the criminals would fall over laughing if the police turned up in that, thus making it nice and easy to arrest them 🙂

The cops driving it did look embarrassed as we all started laughing when we saw it.

I always felt bad for those Canadian Mounties who are assigned to ride around on horseback. Where are they going to arrest the baddies after they catch them? How do they catch speeders or red-light runners?

Well, to be fair, their horses can run faster than most of our sled dogs (some people custom-mod their sleds to reduce friction on the ice, but that's very much illegal). And forget hiding out in your igloo. They can smash 'em right down.

Not all police cars have 4 doors. Two extremes i actually have seen, i'll leave it for you to decide which is best.

The one great thing about our Fuzz Force is that they've always had a penchant for slightly naught pursuit cars, GSi 3000's, Cosworth's, Subaru's, M5's, Porsches... then they tweak 'em. 😀

The BMW estates they have down near me fly by at around 90MPH no problems. Usually the armed response I believe. One clipped my Aygo wing mirror once... cheeky sods.

the police car in the pic from resident evil 3, the front end and sides(box things) resemble that of a 1968 dodge charger.the rest of the car i cant account for.hope i helped🙂 p.s notjustjay was baing sarcastic for those who didn't know. i am from canada and those are all stereo types.some mounties do still ride horses,but most of the time it's provincal police such as the O.P.P or Ontaro Provincal Police,other times it will be city police like the Toronto (Ontario's capital)police force
