Looks like a type of mosquito or crane fly to me. As to what kind exactly, I can't say.

That is the classic mosquito shape. I vote mosquito. Do you live in an environment open to the outside? Are you plagued by red itchy bumps? :) These days the risks associated mosquito bites (disease) can be quite serious.

    The hump is a characteristic.

Get a few resident spiders, and I bet you'll see fewer hanging around inside. :D

    It's a mosquito.

I've been living with this little ****ers all my life.

As a child I spent one hour every night, before going to bed, to try to get rid of them in my room.
Buzzing drove me crazy. i think my blood is a specialty witn them.

If they're mosquitos, they're not female mosquitos because they don't bite me. I tried vaccuming them but they seem to come back.

They ONLY come out at night it seems too. They're like bats. In the daytime, I cant find any of them. At night, there is like 20-30 all over my walls. They may be crane flies but these seem too small to be crane flies.
