Can government remotely activate iPhone mic?

Anybody notice the cameras installed on every block these days? It's been going on for years and surprisingly it doesn't appear many take much issue with it

They say they don't use ALL of them to ticket, if that's the case, why are they installed? And at the point they all WILL be used to ticket us, would this eliminate the need for Police Officers, and instead just use task force groups?

It was signed off on YEARS ago that your phone would become your tracking device. When they forced manufacturers to install GPS on every device whether it could be used on the phone or not, another right was removed.

You notice when you call your local insurance carrier for a quote, one of the things they use is your social security #? Soon they will be looking to add a Black Box type device to your vechicle.

As technology improves, you will slowly but surely give up more and more of your rights, and the question is.....will you notice? ;)

It's not just "the government" who can do this. It's any malicious person with the right amount of time and skills.

Also, the phone does not need to be on to do this. All you need is an installed battery with some charge and someone can get in.
