Can I reset MobileMe

    So my nice new iMac came today, when starting for the first time, i was setting up MobileMe and chose I stupid name not knowing it would be my new email. I need to cancel everything I've done and start from scratch, I've tried canceling subsription and then signing up again with my prefered email name, but everytime I click on the mail app it brings up the original email name I signed up with! I would like to start the whole iMac set up again or at least have the mail app set up with my new MobileMe account! I hope this makes sense ad I'm totally bamboozled!

    Call Apple Support. They will guide you thru the necessary steps to deal with this. Changing email names is done on the Apple side and we can't help with that.

    1. System Preferences.app > Accounts > MobileMe user name: Change > Sign in with your new MobileMe user name.

    2. Restarting computer should fix the Mail.app issue.
