Why Return and what's you daily driver?

I've recently purchased several phones and use each different days (note 8, pixel 2 XL, v30, iPhone 8 plus) I use my note 8 a tad more than the others.

Well yes, but it's the best. Personally I would have gone with Pixel 2 'standard'.

I went to return/exchange my X. They had none in stock. He gave me a 30 day return period and put it in writing. He specifically said that because I paid full price I had 30 days. Kinda surprised me.

I bought my refurbished iPhone 7 about a month and a week ago from apple. They just came out with the refurbished iPhone 8’s though and I would like to get one of those because it would only be $40 more. Do you think they’ll accept my return? Especially because I’m going to buy a different iPhone right after?
