Just to clarify, you want to see your iCloud calendar to appear in Outlook?
Or your Outlook calendar appear in your Calendar app on your iPhone?
Okay ....that clears that up.
what about try adding a dummy calendar entry on your iphone CALENDAR app and see if it syncs with
1. iPhone outlook app calendar
2. Outlook desktop calendar
maybe we need to ‘force’ a sync ...
I'm not sure there's a straightforward way to do that. You could set things up where you see your Outlook calendar in your Calendar app on your iPhone and then basically use that as your calendar (so that anything you add/remove/change there would actually be right in your Outlook calendar). That way you'll just be using your Outlook calendar (instead of iCloud calendar) and will see it on your iPhone and in Outlook.want to see my iCloud calendar appear in Outlook![]()
It's not too hard if you use a single calendar (like just the Outlook one) that you want to access from different devices/apps, but can be trickier if you use different calendars (like iCloud and Outlook) and want to have access to all from different devices/apps.Yeah I'm totally lost now so I'm just going to leave it as it is, it's not a big deal, it was just a 'nice to have'.
Thanks all for your patience!![]()
If I remember correctly, the tricky part is exporting in the right format from iCloud. I remember trying to convert the exported database with an online tool because outlook wouldn't accept the file format.I've had a lot of trouble with this historically, but either (most likely) Microsoft or Apple have made a recent change that makes it easier.
All of the posters above have an insane level of patience, complicated by the OP not knowing about iCloud, or that you can use an Outlook email address as / in your iCloud ID. I guess I've just been doing this too long, it's far from intuitive for newer users.
Anyway, adding a 'personal' iCloud calendar into a 'work' Outlook calendar is in my experience best done on a computer - make the iCloud calendar publicly shared and then copy the link into Outlook.com (via a browser, not the PC / Mac client):
