Hi all,
I have a 32" 2560x1440 75hz HP OMEN monitor.
I can connect mi Mac Mini to my 2560x1440 monitor via HDMI, but only at 60hz. Tried to go till 75hz with no chance.

Do you think that connecting via MiniDP I can reach 75hz ?
In this case I will need a MiniDP to HDMI converter because mi monitor has only HDMI connector. But before to buy it I only need that 75hz will be supported.
Thank for your help

ok, was afraid.
But I wanted to be completely advised

Thank you

Just saw your post and it had me curious.

Tested on my normally headless 2014 Mac mini server with a 144hz monitor over DP - it can hit 100hz (well 99hz) though at a reduced 24bit colour depth. Monitor is native at 2560x1440 @ 144hz, 30bit colour.

OP:

I wouldn't worry about 75hz v 60hz. Just use it and be happy.

What do you think of the 32" Omen display otherwise?
I've considered getting one myself (60hz doesn't bother me)...
