This is a serious question. I want to get the green iPhone 11, show it to my wife and she said is kinda “feminine” for a man. What you guys think?

I think you’re asking about your masculinity rather than your sexuality. I’d say no, it doesn’t make your masculinity questionable. One of the associated characteristics of masculinity in some cultures is decisiveness, even to a point of stupidity. It’s usually regarded as a strength, whereas being thoughtful and considerate is often regarded as waffling or weakness. And that waffling or weakness is not associated with masculinity. So choosing a bright/fun/even “feminine” colored phone doesn’t signal a lack of masculinity. But how you decide on it and how you own it may. Of course, anyone who is thinking that much about your masculinity likely has issues of their own and that’s where I’d start the conversation with them.

It’s a phone who cares. Don’t let other define who you are man. I got a hold xs max because I wanted to. Can be construed as feminine but who cares. Although I now want black lol but yolo.

Let me answer your question with a question or two. Are you secure in your sexuality? Do you care what others think? There you go...

Let's end this thread---

Rosey Grier crocheted and I guarantee you no one called him feminine.

Moral--- get what YOU want----

A normal guy with no hangups can get any color he chooses. Going through life worrying about what other people think is no way to live.

This.

A man can do the **** he wants, he doesn't care about opinions from peasants. I ordered a green one because I had black for the last 3 phones and I'm sick of it. I don't give a **** what others think.

Be you man.

Its actually sad that you actually think about this.

I wrote this already in another thread.

Every year there's always at least one guy who questions their masculinity in regard to iPhone colors. :p:confused::p

Get what you like and enjoy. Who cares?

I've seen so many men in corporate rock that color purple as their suit shirt, it's a no brainer.

My feminine self is perfectly fine with any colors for myself and for men. I am delighted to be moving out of my dark and stormy color preferences personally. If I was updating to an 11, it would be either white or red.

Can my sexuality be questionable by getting the green iPhone ?

No but it would be questionable if you’re primary motivations and image of yourself Is driving by the opinions of others

Men can sport any color they want with confidence. Apple phones are not meant to be gender oriented, it’s for all demographics.

Last year I literally saw someone turned down by an Apple salesperson when they tried getting a coral XR. The salesperson asked the guy if it was for him and he said yes. The Apple employee looked at him like he had 2 heads and said that only women were allowed to buy that color...tough times!
JK! LOL
Get whatever you like. Straight men are so insecure LOL

Masculinity is so fragile on here, being secure with yourself is the best option. :)

It seems like your wife has ruined it for you, no matter what now your gonna be nervous about opinions. Your married though, I really cannot fathom why you think it matters what other people think of your sexuality anymore.
I agree...get a new wife lol
